We decided to give the “Pit Daddy" combo a try, and it truly exceeded our expectations! The brisket was definitely the highlight.
We also ordered the fried chicken burger, which was incredibly tasty, and my kid absolutely loved it. A big thank you to Angela for the excellent service. We wholeheartedly recommend this spot for both friends and family alike!
I recently visited the new Double Roti branch in Anna Nagar. The ambience was good. The staff were welcoming which definitely added to the overall experience.
Coming to the food, we started with the Peri Peri Chicken Tenders, which were excellent — flavourful, well-cooked, and perfectly spiced. I would rate them 8.5/10.
Next, we tried the Grilled Chicken Tacos, and it was not great. The filling felt quite bland, and the taco shell wasn’t crispy as expected. It was soft and resembled more of a bao than a taco. There was also an overload of tomatoes, which overpowered the overall taste. I would rate it 4/10.
For the burger, I ordered the Nashville Chicken Burger. Taste-wise, it was good and well-seasoned — another 8.5/10. But the burger size seemed noticeably smaller compared to the previous branch. Considering the price of ₹495, it felt slightly overpriced for the quantity served.
The Milo Shake initially tasted low on Milo, but when we informed the staff, they were courteous in replacing it.
Overall, it was a good dining experience with great ambience and service. However, the pricing is a bit on the higher side for the portion sizes offered.
We had an awesome experience with the best food and abience. The service was soo good that we felt at ease with Esther giving us extra care to ensure our experience was top notch. Ordered the much hyped pit daddy meal and it delivered. The portion size was enormous and 2 of us couldnt finish. Loved every bit of our lunch and service.
I've always loved Double Roti – total fan! 😄 Went to their Anna Nagar spot the other day for dinner and couldn't resist ordering the BBQ Meat Platter. Man, it was massive – basically a crazy mix of a proper English breakfast and American BBQ vibes.
It had everything: beef brisket, beef pastrami, crispy bacon, pork ribs, Nashville-style fried chicken, chicken sausages, garlic bread, mac 'n' cheese, fries, pickles, jalapeños, three different dips, and two iced teas to wash it all down.
The beef pastrami was hands-down my favorite – super soft, fatty, and just melted in my mouth 🤤. Brisket was decent but a tad dry for my liking. Bacon? Come on, it's bacon – always a win 😘. The fried chicken was actually really good and spicy, though it felt a little oily. Chicken sausages were meh – I'm spoiled by those juicy pork ones from a classic English brekkie. Sides were mostly solid, but the mac 'n' cheese was kinda bland, needed more punch.
Biggest letdown was the pork ribs – sauce way too sweet and the meat was tough. I told the server about it, and they were awesome: checked with the chef right away and happily swapped it out. Ended up taking extra fried chicken home as takeaway. Huge props to Aso for being so cool and handling it like a pro – service was top-notch!
Iced teas were refreshing; definitely go for the peach one over watermelon.
Overall, walked out super happy. Food was mostly banging, ambience is great, and the service made it even better. Totally recommend hitting up Double Roti in Anna Nagar! 👌🏼
The ambience has changed completely after their relocation, and it no longer has the charm the previous place had. The new setting feels disappointing, and it leaves you wishing for the old atmosphere. The food quality has also dropped noticeably compared to before, the pizza we had especially wasn’t great this time. However, the service remains excellent, with the staff being attentive and polite. Overall, good service but the ambience and food quality need improvement.
