After shopping at t nagar deceided to have a evening snacks at geetham restaurant. We had a vara, bonda and Chettinad mini tiffin. The Chettinad mini tiffin was good. And we had a coffee which was very average this time.I didn't expect an average coffee at geetham this time. The service was very slow but very crowded in this branch. The ambience was ok.
Best vegetarian restaurant chain with AC. It can be very crowded during peak hours with minimum waiting for 5 minutes, for a single person. You may have to join strangers of the seating is full, so be prepared to share some space!
The food was very good and spices were accurate. Freshness and hygiene was maintained perfectly with mopping done on regular intervals and Tables cleaned with disinfectant. The service can be a little slow so better decide the dishes while waiting and give your order straightaway when you step in.
Quite attracted by the heavy decorative colorful lights, we stopped over for dinner. Luckily, we were quite early and got our table almost immediately. Otherwise, this place attracts so many people and one has to wait on a long Q to get a table.
The young boys & girls from Nepal & Assam as the service people were very good. Inspite of the language difference, they could easily communicate and explain the receipe of some of the items. They are the hero’s of this restaurant.
Food, not as expected. Few limited items we had, did not make us good about the quality of food served here. The sambar was not tasty, the masala in the masala dosa was not up to the mark - it was like a smooth SOOJI type texture and quite tasteless. The Lime-Chilly drink was excellent and well made. Appam was just ok type. The big disappointment was on Basundhi, which was literally a milk-maid items and not a real Basubdhi.
Overall, quite a disappointing place. I wonder how people run to this Restaurent.
This place doesn't worth the hype of reviews. While the service here is quick , the taste of the food is average and the high price tag doesn't justify the Tate or the atmosphere. Ambience is noisy and lacks the fine edge. Overall a good place for quick bite if you are hungry. However do not expect much
Geetham Food maintains good standards when it comes to food quality, holding its own among similar vegetarian restaurant chains.
We ordered a variety of dishes, but we especially enjoyed the mor kuzhambu idli. There were multiple dinner options available, including several Jain food options, which is appreciated.
However, the place is always crowded, with a waiting time of around 30 minutes, and the atmosphere is noisy.
We were also disappointed that Swiggy Dineout payment was not accepted.
