Honest Review:
Even on a crowded Valentine’s Day night, the service and quality of food was excellent. Enjoyed their cheesy chicken burger (not that cheesy), galouti kebab (melted in the mouth) and chicken tikka pesto pasta (little bit dry). Tried Tiramisu affogato for the first time (not my favourite).

Medium sized multi- cuisine restaurant offering North Indian, continental, Italian and fusion ....Neat, well-maintained ..Good reviews made me to try but overall impression was ok nothing extraordinary...starter subz tempura was crispy fried vegetables with spicy flavour and tasted good.... Truffle mushroom spaghetti pasta was creamy with few mushroom pieces and was ok ...tangdi chicken biryani was a let down : chicken was a tad hard and probably not fresh- was informed by the staff that it was Lucknow style biryani ?...rice was a bit watery and not well mixed or tasty ! Service was polite and quick ...seating was cramped and lacking privacy ... washroom is too small with a single washbasin ...items are pricey and though the portions are generous , overall quality and taste is not commensurate with the expectations!
This a cozy place situated right opposite Shoppers stop in Harrington Road! Have been wanting to go to this place after going over the reviews and the involvement of Mad Chef Kaushik. The place definitely met the hype it created for the quality of food and the creativity they have exhibited in their fusion menu. This place offers an excellent fusion of indo-continental culinary! I had visited this place twice in the past 2 weeks and relished their food. Our order comprised of:
Mutton galoutti - a very soft minced mutton soaking the required spices and placed over a saffron bread. Fell in love with it in the very first bit. Definitely the second best competing to the Great Kebab factory
Mushroom galoutti - the vegetarian version was also very well made.
Lasooni prawn - tandoor prawn made with a rich and creamy garlicky marinade, that will make you lick your finger tips
Egg Benedict - was okish, a soft bread topped with paneer butter masala sans the paneer and topped with poached egg. The classic hollandaise sauce was missing on the egg and felt like eating bread at home with the left over panneer masala gravy.
Chimichuri chicken Spaghetti - how do I describe it……. Rightly cooked Spaghetti blended with a sauce you can neither call it indian nor Italian, but it will hit your taste buds in the right spots. The pasta was served in a pizza bowl that gets tastier the more it gets soaked in the sauce.
Sangria mocktail - they are making earnest efforts in customising mocktail recipes instead of simply throwing artificial syrup in 7Up. This was a pulpy grape blended with chunks of Red and Green apple. Tasted refreshing and very fruity. They have a lot of fruity choices. Will definitely go for the mango colado the next time.
Pistachio decadent - the final food trance came with this drink/desert. It is a cup blasted with rich pista cream and poured over espresso with pista icecream floaty and topped with generous amount for fresh and crispy crushed pistas. At first it would feel as an odd combo - reading the menu. But just a spoon full....... will port you to wonderland. Have become kind of addicted to it.
Cold coffee - a well made one with not too strong and not too light mode that let me enjoy the drink
The owner was checking with us on our feedback and he also mentioned he brought in the pistachio decadent from an Italian menu.
If at all there is any scope for improvement, I would sate the price for the mutton Galoutti, 650+ for 4 small pieces is really superb costly and the egg benedict really felt out of place compared to the other items!
A great place for yummy food!
