We went to Kipling Cafe and had chicken fried rice and kebab.
The kebab was good, but the chicken fried rice was just okay. The service was very poor; we asked for hot water and it wasn't even served after 10-20 minutes.
Ordering food itself took very long, and there wasn't much crowd either. The ambiance was okay.
We didn't have a great experience there.
I think I had my expectations too high for this place.
One thing that put me off the most was the service. We had to keep reminding them to get the order from us.
Also, I understand that most staff don’t understand Tamil but it really would be nice if they knew at least English. It was difficult communicating with them when we could sparsely get hold of them. They messed up our celebration and kept us waayyy past their closing time which nothing to do from our end. We had to wait a long time to catch the eye of the staff and address us even there was no one else around.
The food was okay. It was decent. The decor for our celebration was good.
