This place charges high, with a paltry self service facility & not all items are available. Padhir Peni isn't served at all. But it's in the menu. With poor seating arrangements. Food is average and can be compared to eating circles. But they (EC) provide better seating and ambience.
This place needs to work on many aspects. Food is ok. Karnataka Sambar actually needs work. The balance of spicy and sweety note isn't right.
Mangalore bun was gooood! Vada was ok. But Benne Dosa simply needs work. I've eaten in many udipi format based joints. Including the OG Davanagere Benne Dosa stall in Davanagere. This needs work @ Sashwatha cafe for the acceptably exorbitant price but no match to the quality.
