Unfortunately, had to wait over an hour to get the table and it felt "almost" worth waiting for.
The food was tasty and felt very fresh. I rated 4 out of 5 only because even though the food was great, it wasn't absolutely lip smacking delicious. I felt like something was missing but couldn't point my finger at anything in particular. I thought it's because everything is so organic and no artificial flavours probably.
The chocolate cake was decadent, yes! So amazing, but the strawberry chocolate cake in the menu felt like it would be something made together. It was just strawberry cut and spread over the already made cake and that was throwing me off. It could be my personal thought. However, otherwise it was a nice place.
The farm shop had some pretty unique items worth trying out so I purchased a few. Absolutely loved the ambiance and the friendly cats!
The Farm Restaurant in Chennai is such a wonderful place. It feels like a peaceful escape from the busy city. The climate and ambience made the day feel so special and relaxing. The food was fresh, organic, and absolutely delicious. I loved the experience and would highly recommend this place to everyone❤️❤️
We recently visited The Farm for a quick evening stop with our fur babies. It’s truly a one of a kind, farm style - experience, with rustic, peaceful and simple ambience.🌱
The restaurant is pet friendly and has a huge seating area, indoor / outdoors. They use fresh, farm grown ingredients in their cooking, which explains the pricing. (still definitely on the higher end) ₹₹₹
The menu is huge with many interesting choices! 🥗 We had the #7 pizza, which costed around Rs. 1000, but must try if you like authentic, light pizzas.
Their coffee menu is well curated and tasty as well.☕️ Try the Cold Mocha!
I feel the pathway / the ground can be made smoother as it could be challenging for certain people to walk comfortably. Overall a good experience, but a bit too expensive for the environment.🌼
Located in a calm serene space with freshlymade food is really a blessing in the buzzling city. Farm kinda met our expectations but definitely didn't surpass it. We tried
📎Crispy fish cutlet - loved them, the mustard dip given was not for my buds. | 4.5/5
📎Smoked chicken sausage pizza - if you are not a lover of mustard, tell them beforehand to not include that dressing. Chicken sausages didn't seem to be fresh or made in house. Cheese was okay but I won't try again | 3/5
📎Ricotta italian style cheescake - if you are a fan of newyork ones, you would find this as a bland paneer given with strawberry compote. The cake isn't sweet at all, the compote makes it sweet | 2.5/5
📎 Kyoto Cold drip - thats purely a black coffee served with froth (without sugar) if you want to have a good experience with this, you gotta drink it before froth leaves and u should mix well with a good amount of sugar and drink with the froth. 5-10 mins was the max time for this, then it tasted bad|
2/5
📎 christmas crumbie - nope this not even tasted like a cake crumble, just a mix of bland cheese and dry fruits with flour| 1/5
The dishes didn't serve its price. Though the place looks aesthetic and traditional the charges should be lesser even if everything is in consideration.
Parking was well maintained. The reason for the 3 stars and not 2 is because we atleast got everything fresh (except that I still doubt the chicken sausage) and not very disappointed.
An amazing experience today in the farm. Starting from the reservation phone call, the service, the ambience, the food, they deserve an applause.
Coming to the food, the pork ribs and the pizza # 27 which is pork pepperoni, pork sausage and chicken sausage are lip smacking. I savored every bite of it. The chicken caesar salad is on the lighter side which means you can really enjoying the natural flavour of all the ingredients. The iced cafe latte is really good. The coffee in it is on point. The kokum sherbet is refreshing. The strawberries with crème fraîche is best if you want a sugarfree dessert. We loveddd the farm shop also. Bought home some cheese varieties and dressings to try. Overall it was a really satisfying late lunch experience. Some people have pointed out the cost of the dishes, I'm telling you eating at a place where you can trace back all the ingredients to its source in such a calm and cozy environment at this cost is far better that eating at restaurants offering processed foods and ending up in hospital to spend the extra money at a later date. Iykyk.
