Worst experience I have ever received from this hotel since we were regular customers 5-7Years. But today we were waiting for more 20-30mins just to settle down in hotel and there is no crowd. And the people from hotel not ready to take orders they are just chatting with other customers. Really a bad selection of hotel to spend time and money with our families.
Restaurant has good ambience, trying to be different from other restaurants. Kind of Chennai city theme restaurant. Seating capacity is quite good, yes parking would be slightly crampy, though valet parking is available.
Food is great with good taste, choice of menu is also quite good. I like the manchow soup, roti, chetinad curry, with chicken
Platter. Finally finished my appetite with sizzler brownie. Overall good food, with great ambience.
I recently went to this restaurant for dinner with my cousins and I have mixed feelings about the experience. On one hand, the food was good and the ambiance was pleasant. However, I was disappointed to find that there was no regular water available for guests. Instead, the restaurant offered two complimentary water bottles that were about 400ml in total for the four of us. After we finished the bottles, we asked for normal water but were told that we had to buy additional water bottles. I found this to be unreasonable, especially considering that water is a basic necessity that should be freely available to guests. To make matters worse, one of the waiters had an attitude from the beginning of our visit. However, ignoring the waiter's behavior, the food was decent.
The Food was good, not exceptional though. I loved all the Kebab dishes, it was exceptional. Be it the Fish Tikka, Tangdi Kebab or Mutton Chukka.
The Chicken Biryani, had quite a few pieces but the taste was moderate. Though their were multiple wall painting, etc but the ambience inside was fine. The outer area was good but they were not serving and more it's non-ac.
Good place though, it's quite close to Ambit but it comes on the outer ring road.
Good food, good ambience.
In my personal experience, the only negative thing I faced is the pace at which the food were served. We had a 3 course meal and it was all served under 25 minutes. It was too much to handle and we had to eat in a hurry. We usually spend 70 to 90 minutes on average for dinner as a group. But that day we took only 40 minutes and the feel of group outing and dinner was shortened by their speed.
But with all that said, it is a great place to dine in.
