Mayflower has been on my go to list for a long time. Finally, made it here knowing that they've opened in ECR.
Close to 2 of my favorite places (Bask and Manam), and didn't think twice before stepping in.
Parking is on the streets. The welcome was like warm, the service was okayish. The staff kept opening the sliding door, where the housefly kept seeping in. The guy at the dessert counter, was on his phone all the time and the supervisor was having a very loud altercation with him about the plating of the desserts, while we were the audience to it.
The food arrived, and I loved every bit of it. In the future, I would love to order from herethant dine in. The dimsums were my favorite of the 3 that we ordered. Can't wait to try rest of the food on their menu.
Had a decent dinner with family here at this cafe. Ambience is alright, nothing fancy. The restaurant is attached to a hotel i believe. Just a few staff around who didn't know much about the food or what's on the menu. The appetizers were good, but the main course dishes were equally disappointing. The beverages weren't great. For dessert, the tiramisu was decent. Overall, it wasn't that great an experience, but we enjoyed all the appetizers served, so that's about it. I wouldn't really recommend this place to anybody.
The Mayflower Restaurant – Great Ambience, Average Food
Visited The Mayflower Restaurant and really liked the open-air ambience by the swimming pool — calm and relaxing setup, perfect for a pleasant evening. However, the food taste was quite average. Tried the pizza, which was very bland and lacked flavour, though the Green Chicken Thai Curry was good as usual.
One small issue — the restroom door was very tight and difficult to lock, which needs a fix.
Overall, a nice place to sit and enjoy the atmosphere, but the food could definitely use some improvement to match the lovely setting.
