Visited this place for my friend’s birthday bash 🎉🍽️, but unfortunately, it turned out to be a really disappointing experience. We visited on a Sunday evening for dinner, and despite there being less crowd, the service was extremely slow and unorganized 😕.
Right from the start, things felt off. The plates had a foul smell, and to our shock, there was a mosquito in the drinking water 🦟💧 — completely unacceptable and concerning for hygiene.
Coming to the food, it was very average overall. For starters, we ordered fish and chips, peri peri fries, chicken gyoza, chicken wings, and dynamite shrimp 🍤🍗. The peri peri fries were okay, but the dynamite shrimp was overly oily — literally drenched in oil — and we had to return it 🤢.
For the mains, we tried Alfredo pasta, smashed potatoes with steak, chicken burgers, beef burger, and nasi goreng 🍝🍔. The beef steak was unevenly cooked — overcooked on the edges and raw in the centre, which was a big letdown 🥩❌. The nasi goreng was not authentic at all and tasted more like Schezwan fried rice.
To make matters worse, the staff forgot some of our orders, adding to the frustration 😤. The Nutella and Oreo shakes were very disappointing — watery, lacking consistency, and flavour 🥤❌.
I genuinely don’t want this to come across negatively, but this experience was far below expectations. Kindly look into service, hygiene, and food quality, as we truly didn’t expect this from your establishment. 🙏
The Summer House Eatery is impressive - the ambience, vibe and the food is all pleasant. The staff is attentive and friendly, yet the whole staff should be well-versed with the menu.
Parmesan Garlic Fries 🧄 is the delightful snack while awaiting the rest of the order. Chicken Gyoza is a kid friendly starter 🥟 The Chicken Club Sandwich is padded with grilled chicken breast, egg and nourishing vegetables . A perfect coffee companion ! Nasi Goreng is a rice bowl stirred through with bell peppers, served along mini chicken skewers. A hearty main meal! The signature sips is average.
The eatery has a fine menu for coffee and tea.
Tried the French fries with truffle oil and garlic and parsley. It’s a must try. Summer house fried chicken with sweet devil sauce is looks hot but very deliciously sweet. Nice ambience and parking service
This place serves expensive food but its not worth the taste. We ordered fish and chips and it was like fish bajji. Blueberry latte was averagish as the flavour didnt hit. It was like normal latte and the quantity was less ₹270. Butter garlic prawns were so good. 6 layer cake was the best out of all.
The Summer House Eatery is truly a hidden gem in the city! From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by the great ambiance, pleasant background music, and cozy vibe of the place.
The food was absolutely delicious. We tried several dishes, and each one stood out in its own way. The Cheese garlic bread had the perfect crispy garlic flavor, and the Dynamite prawns were a unique blend of juicy prawns and an incredible dip that complemented perfectly. The Korean fried chicken was a flavor explosion – the sauce was so good.
The star of the show for me was the Garlic butter and white wine sauce pasta – creamy, flavorful, and an absolute must-try. The Roasted vegetable flatbread(Pizza) was a decent option with nice toppings, while the Grilled chicken flatbread hit with its toppings.
For dessert, the Six-layered mousse cake stole the spotlight with its rich chocolaty taste that melted in every bite. The Baked cheesecake was average, but the raspberry jam topped with it was a nice touch. The Hot chocolate while decent, felt a bit watery.
Overall, the service was excellent, and the staff was attentive and friendly, This place deserves way more attention than it gets! If you're looking for a perfect mix of amazing food, great service, and a charming atmosphere, The Summer House Eatery should be on your list. Highly recommend!
